Dr. Katie Fusco was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and grew up in the San Fernando Valley. She attended Loyola Marymount University and graduated with a B.S in Biochemistry with Magna Cum Lade honors. It was through her personal dental experiences and volunteer opportunities through college where she discovered her passion for dentistry. She earned her D.D.S from the UCLA School of Dentistry and was granted a Dean's Scholarship. Dr. Katie received the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Award, given to a student demonstrating promise in the specialty of pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Katie received her certificate and training in pediatric dentistry from UCLA as well and is a board-eligible pediatric dentist. She is an active member of many professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association.
Her passion for pediatric dentistry stems from a desire to create positive dental experiences for her patients and their families. Her goal is to create a safe and comfortable environment for her patients, while focusing on prevention and education to her patients and families.
In her free time, Dr. Katie enjoys golfing with her fiancé, traveling and exploring new cities, and trying new restaurants and places to eat. Dr. Katie is very excited to be part of the team at Newport Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry, and is looking forward to meeting you!
